A precious perfume chest most likely from the 18th Century. When the button at the top is pressed, the two sides of the container open up. Inside there are two small crystal flasks that sit neatly inside and pivot on a central pillar. The chest clips shut when the bottles are positioned in the closing position.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
