This stunning clear crystal glass vase doubles as a unique sculptural work of art made by glassmaker Pierre D'Avesn (1901-1990) at the Daum glassworks. D'Avesn also worked for Lalique. Circa 1930s, signed underneath.
Note the contrast between the opaque etched vase and the heat-fixed clear scroll handles. This piece would be a visually and architecturally interesting piece to add to a kitchen or living room, filled with a large, seasonal arrangement of roses, tulips, or hydrangeas.
