Dating from the nineteenth century, these two superb confit pots were originally used for storing preserves. They are from south west France and have vibrant green glaze. A lovely duo to display on open shelves or in the kitchen. If used as a vase, it is recommended that a watertight container be put inside to avoid condensation damaging furniture.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
