4" Fern, Ariane

Ariane means "most holy" or "silver" in Greek and Welsh. Not sure what that means to our brilliant green little fern, but they're pretty ideas. Ariane is another Nephrolepis Boston type fern with some really nice differences. Not fragile at all, her stiffer yet still traily and graceful fronds are shorter and much sturdier than Boston. Rather than orderly, flat little leaflets on the stems, Ariane mixes it up with cute, curly, curvy, unruly little leaftets. No fainting on becoming a moment too dry, no throwing her leaflets on the floor and wringing her fronds in a show of unhappiness, Ariane takes it all in stride if you don't watch her every moment. Even just fine in lower light, this is the dream fern for that dreamy, lovely, little fern grotto you've always wanted.
