Karel van der Veek had a long and distinguished career as one of the truly great breeders of Daffodils. Over 30 years, he built up a personal collection of roughly 2,600 varieties that is unlike anything else on this earth. It's truly a living museum of Narcissus, comprising almost every form known in the trade. From his fields in Holland, his sons Sigge and Carlos have created the ultimate, long-blooming resource for those who love Daffodils in all their forms. We call it "A Golden Legacy," and each mixture includes 50 different Narcissus varieties hand-selected from the legendary collection of Karel van der Veek. Not labeled. Covers 10 sq ft.

For many gardeners, large, bright blooms of Daffodils are the first visible signs of spring. These vigorous, long-lived bulbs thrive joyously in sunny, well-drained places, are shunned by hungry deer and voles, and will thrive and multiply with little care on our part, creating a glorious landscape and a horticultural legacy. They must be planted in fall, which is when we deliver them.
