Ajuga replans 'Black Scallop' bugleweed is a wonderful small scale ground cover or container plant. A great shade loving plant. Purple-black glossy crinkled leaves are stopped by lavender blue flower spikes in spring.

- Light: part shade to full shade
- Soil: well drained moist garden soil
- Spacing: 12 - 15"
- Height at maturity: 4 - 6"
- Zones: 3 - 9
- Pro tip: trim flower stems after bloom to tidy up appearance. Divide in spring every 2 - 3 years.
