Early 1900s quilt made from scraps of wool cotton and silk. Colors in this one are amazing. Some of the silks have degraded as they often do with age. We don’t think it detracts from the amazing handiwork. Perhaps this one is a better candidate for the end of the bed or display over a stair banister. Opened up and hung behind the bed would be outstanding.
There is some minor staining to the front, moreso on the back. But it has been laundered.
