Antique French dough bowl - small 23¼"

This small antique French wooden trough or dough bowl dates from the end of the nineteenth century. Likely made from beechwood, it has been beautifully carved and has weathered over time, adding to its rustic appearance. These wooden vessels were originally used to mix bread dough.
