This superb antique French wooden cheese house dates from the 1940s. It has a little handle on top for convenient carrying and a simple latch on the hinged door. The sides are covered with timeworn fly wire. If using for food and cheese, it is recommended that a liner such as parchment paper is used rather than directly placing the food on the wood. A fabulous piece that will add an instant touch of French country to any home.
