Item Description & Information
Late 19th-century Staffordshire pottery barrel-form garden seat by Copeland Spode (circa: 1880).
The barrel seat in the Chinese-style with pierced body and seat top. The sides with 2 bands of raised moulded 'stud-work' decoration. Decorated throughout with pink and purple morning glories and entwining vines. Under-glaze blue Copeland Spode mark to the reverse.
Measurements: 43 cm (H); 30 cm (D).
