Begonia Dragon Wing Pink

Begonia 'Dragon Wing Pink' is a vigorous hybrid begonia with glossy, wing-shaped green leaves and pendulous clusters of vibrant pink flowers. Known for its strong heat and humidity tolerance, this cultivar blooms continuously from spring through fall and adds a tropical feel to gardens and containers.

USDA Grow Zone:
Perennial in zones 10–11; grown as an annual in cooler climates.

Height and Width:
Reaches 12 to 18 Inches in height and spreads 15 to 18 Inches wide.

Uses:
Ideal for hanging baskets, patio containers, borders, and mass plantings. Performs well in landscape beds or as a striking filler plant in mixed arrangements.

Native Range:
Hybrid cultivar with parent species native to tropical and subtropical regions of South America.

Sun Requirements:
Thrives in part sun to part shade. Can handle full morning sun but benefits from afternoon shade, especially in hot southern climates.

Water Requirements:
Moderate. Prefers consistently moist, well-drained soil. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely, but also ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
