Bordissot Blanca Rimada figs grow from medium to large size and have a round and squat shape. The stripy skin is a stable feature that is highly desirable for fig growers. Bordissot Blanca Rimada figs have bright red pulp, which contrasts nicely with their light skin. The pulp is syrupy, chewy, and has a good seed crunch. The figs have a sweet berry flavor with slight acidity. Some believe this to be a synonym of the popular Panache fig from France, but some growers have found Bordissot Blanca Rimada to have a slightly earlier ripening time. Overall, Bordissot Blanca Rimada is a mid to late season fig that is suited for warm climates and long growing seasons.

When do we ship cuttings?
Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):
We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.
**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.
Rooted Cuttings(Spring):
We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
