Canna Terra Professional Plus+ Soil Mix - 50L

Canna Professional Plus is one of the purest soil mixes available, made with top quality peat and nutrients. The formulation is specifically designed for indoor growing, and is RHP quality controlled.

Use of Canna Professional Plus provides your plant with a natural environment to grow in. The combination of peat moss, organic bark and nutrients creates an airy mix and builds a structure that delivers optimum amounts of air and water for your plant to thrive in. This and the trace elements and chelates in the mix protect the plants during growth and promote root development and the formation of thicker stems.

Canna Professional Plus is pH-adjusted with enough of a lime charge to last for an entire cycle, giving you long-term control. The medium is also lightly fertilised so no need to add any base nutrients for the first few weeks.

Fill your pot to within an inch or two to the top, place plant into it and water making sure there is sufficient drainage. Only water again when the soil becomes a little dry. Plants should not require any additional nutrients for the first few weeks.

Adjust the water given to the plant depending on the size of the pot, growing conditions and the plant’s growth stage. Under normal conditions, an adult plant evaporates 4-6 litres of moisture a day per m2. For larger plants, use 5 litre pots or larger – the larger the pot, the more constant the root environment will be.
