Chick Charmlettes Sleepy Steve (Sempervivum 'Sleepy Steve') is a compact rosette-forming succulent in the Crassulaceae family, native to the mountains of Europe and western Asia where it grows in rocky, well-drained soils. It belongs to the hens and chicks group, a cold hardy succulent known for spreading by offsets and surviving tough alpine conditions.
'Sleepy Steve' forms tight, symmetrical rosettes with fleshy, pointed leaves that press close together in an almost closed, cup-like shape.
