Aglaonema ‘Red Valentine’ is an undemanding, cheerful houseplant that will brighten your interior with vivid, pinkish-red leaves that are mottled, edged, and veined in green. Its appearance is artistic, with no two leaves alike. Plants thrive in medium to high light with leaf coloration at its most intense at the brighter end of the spectrum. ‘Red Valentine’ can tolerate a touch of direct, early-morning sunlight. Aglaonema is a genus of evergreen perennials from tropical Southeast Asia and New Guinea, commonly referred to as Chinese Evergreens. Prized for their striking ornamental foliage, they feature broad, lance-shaped leaves in shades of green, silver, red, or pink. Although native to warm, humid understory environments, they have proven to be easy-to-grow houseplants, tolerant of inconsistent watering and dry indoor air.
