(5-13-0) with 18% Calcium Fish bone meal is a natural byproduct of the fishing industry, we make use of this "waste" material, as plant food, that would otherwise be discarded. It is made by dehydrating and grinding the bones into meal and helps improve soil structure and fertility by adding organic matter, which enhances water retention, aeration, and microbial activity in the soil. Coast of Maine Fish Bone Meal is preservative-free and is used instead of traditional steamed bone meal in all of our fertilizer blends.
