Col de Dame Noir Fig

Col de Dame Noir is another wonderful French variety with dark figs that have the same deep red interior as other Col de Dames. Kremp Florist grows Col de Dame Noir fig trees in southeastern Pennsylvania. Cuttings from these trees can be purchased locally in-store or can be shipped nationwide. It is a wonderful French variety that grows well in containers or in the ground. Whether you have many fig trees or are growing this delicious fruit for the first time, Col de Dame Noir will not disappoint.

When do we ship cuttings?

Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):

We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.

**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.

Rooted Cuttings(Spring):

We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
