Crema di Mora Fig

Crema di Mora figs have black skin that looks almost blue in the light. The black skin is just one indication of the delicious blackberry taste. The figs are round in shape and grow to medium size. The skin is of medium thickness and good for eating. A tight eye keeps out pests and provides good resistance to splitting. The figs are confirmed common, and do not require wasp pollination. The red pulp of Crema di Mora figs has a blackberry and mixed berry flavor. The fruity flavors include strawberry, blueberry, and banana. Crema di Mora trees have very pretty 5-lobed leaves that almost have a tropical look to them with wavy margins.

When do we ship cuttings?

Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):

We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.

**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.

Rooted Cuttings(Spring):

We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
