Di Tre Volte Fig

Di Tre Volte is a fig with a name meaning “three times.” That’s because in warm and long growing seasons, this variety has the ability to produce 3 crops of figs: breba, main crop, and cimaruoli (second main crop). Di Tre Volte is a very ancient variety from Tuscany, Italy. It produces lots of figs in grape-like clusters. These clusters can even become heavy enough to weigh down branches. In addition to the large figs, Di Tre Volte trees produce large leaves with 1, 3, or 5 lobes. The main crop figs have a large eye that can make them susceptible to pests, but with three crops and a highly productive yield, growers should have many figs to enjoy.

When do we ship cuttings?

Non-Rooted Cuttings(November/December):

We begin to ship cuttings once the trees are dormant and in a shippable state. Exact timing is weather dependent, but we usually start in November. Shipping continues throughout the winter and early spring. We stop shipping when the trees begin to break dormancy, normally around mid-March.

**All non-rooted cuttings ship between November and March regardless of the date selected during checkout. Orders placed during our pre-sale period(October/November) will ship out first in November/December. If you are rooting your cuttings in the spring, our cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until you are ready to root them. They will be perfectly fine. That is what we do and they've turned into our most impressive trees.

Rooted Cuttings(Spring):

We begin shipping rooted cuttings once they are mature enough to ship. The shipping period typically begins late April and continues into June. Regardless of the date you select during checkout, we will ship when ready during that span. Please do not ask for ETA's or specific arrival dates. You will receive an email when your order ships with UPS Ground tracking details.
