Down To Earth AZOMITE 0-0-0.2 is a natural trace mineral soil amendment derived from ancient volcanic ash deposits in central Utah. Rich in over 70 beneficial elements and trace minerals, AZOMITE helps re-mineralize depleted soils, support stronger root systems, improve plant vigor, and promote healthier growth in vegetables, flowers, lawns, trees, shrubs, vines, containers, and living soil blends.
Over time, garden soils can become depleted of essential trace minerals due to heavy feeding crops, repeated planting, watering, and nutrient runoff. Down To Earth AZOMITE helps restore these valuable minerals back into the soil, supporting long-term fertility and balanced plant nutrition.
This OMRI Listed amendment is ideal for organic gardeners, raised bed growers, compost builders, lawn care, greenhouse production, and anyone looking to improve soil quality naturally.
Derived from natural volcanic ash and valued for its broad spectrum of trace minerals and beneficial elements.
AZOMITE is commonly used by organic gardeners and growers to help restore minerals that may be missing from depleted soils. While traditional fertilizers focus mainly on nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, AZOMITE provides a broad range of naturally occurring trace elements that support overall soil balance and plant health.
Adding AZOMITE to your garden, containers, or compost helps create a more complete growing environment for plants by improving mineral availability and supporting long-term soil fertility.
The powder grade is excellent for blending into compost, potting mixes, soil blends, manures, and microbial inoculants. It mixes easily and is a great choice for custom soil building.
The granular grade is ideal for broadcast spreading in gardens, lawns, raised beds, and larger outdoor growing areas where easier application is preferred.
For new beds, apply 1 to 2 lbs per 10 square feet and mix into the top 3 inches of soil. For new transplants, add 1 tablespoon directly into the planting hole and mix with the surrounding soil.
For new container plantings, add 2 to 3 tablespoons per gallon of soil and mix thoroughly. For established container plants, lightly mix 1 tablespoon per gallon into the soil surface and water in well.
For established lawns, apply 2.5 to 5 lbs per 1,000 square feet and water thoroughly. For new lawns, apply 5 lbs per 1,000 square feet before watering in.
Apply 1 lb per 2 inches of trunk diameter around the base of the plant, spreading outward toward the drip line. Lightly mix into the soil surface and water thoroughly.
Down To Earth AZOMITE is OMRI Listed for organic production, making it a trusted choice for organic gardeners, regenerative growers, soil builders, compost makers, and anyone looking to naturally improve mineral availability in their soil.
