A highly decorative pair of painted plaster consoles in the form of oversized Corinthian capitals, dating from the early 20th century and likely created as theatrical or decorative set pieces. Their bold scale and richly carved acanthus leaf motifs give them a striking, sculptural presence.
The white painted finish shows some marks, surface dirt, and minor chips consistent with age, which could be cleaned if desired.
