E.B. Stone Agricultural Lime is a natural source of calcium and magnesium. It is ideal for adjusting the pH of acidic soils. Our Agricultural Lime is derived from naturally occurring limestone and supplies calcium and magnesium to the soil. It is useful for increasing the pH of lawns and garden soils as well as supplementing plant nutrition and soil nutrients.
Adding to your tomato beds in the fall allows the calcium to break down in the soil so when you plant your starts in the spring, the nutrients are immediatly availble for the hungry tomatoes to take up.
