Echinacea Green Jewel is an incredibly unique Coneflower that was discovered by Piet Oudolf. The light green ray petals surround the large, green cone of this fragrant coneflower. The sturdy plants have an upright habit and only reach between 20 and 24 inches tall, so no staking is required.
Echinaceas are becoming very popular because of their cheerful, brightly colored flowers and ease of care. Coneflowers are a mainstay in today's flower gardens. Leave the spent flowers on the plants in the fall because their seeds provide much-needed winter food for finches and other birds.
