How to Use Espoma Organic Mushroom Compost Blend

New Garden Beds:
Add 2–3 inches of Mushroom Compost Blend over the garden area. Mix or rototill into the existing soil to a depth of 4–6 inches, level with a rake, plant, and water thoroughly.

Individual Planting Holes:
Mix Espoma Mushroom Compost Blend with native soil at a 1:1 ratio before backfilling around flowers, vegetables, trees, or shrubs.

Established Plants:
Apply a 1/2 to 1 inch layer around the base of established plants as a top dressing and water thoroughly.

Containers:
Blend with potting soil to add organic matter and improve soil texture. Do not use as the only growing medium unless directed by the plant’s care requirements.

For best results, water thoroughly after planting and continue watering as needed until plants are established.
