It is native to China through tropical Asia, We love the Chinese Banyan for its graceful form and uniquely shaped roots. This fig makes a very attractive large indoor plant. It’s also very good value, quite a cheap houseplant that gives a lot of value back!

It’s perfect for beginners and homes with lower light levels. The easiest indoor bonsai to grow.

Where should it go?

Somewhere bright out of direct sun. A North or West facing window is ideal. How much should I water my plant?

Soil should be allowed to dry out slightly before watering but it should stay moist.

Does it need feeding?

Feed once a month during spring and summer. Why not try our vegan, organic plant food?
