🔥 Fire Class Compatibility:

• Class A – Paper, wood, cardboard, plastics (common combustibles)

• Class B – Flammable liquids: gasoline, oil, grease, solvents

• Class C – Electrical fires: wiring, circuit boards, outlets

Note: Do not use water on Class C fires due to electrocution risk.

🧯 Extinguishing Agent:

The Flame Defender uses mono ammonium phosphate, a yellow powder that suppresses fire and helps prevent re-ignition. While effective, it may leave a sticky residue not ideal for delicate electronics like computers.

Compared to CO₂ extinguishers, dry chemical extinguishers offer the advantage of leaving a non-flammable coating on surfaces, reducing the chance of flare-ups after the fire is out.
