These hydroponic foam collars fit our 6" net pots. Hydroponic foam inserts support plants as they grow, reflect light to reduce algae growth, and reduce water loss due to evaporation.
Made from 3/4" thick white foam, these net pot foam collars are pre-cut to expand around the plant to provide support and secure positioning in the net pot.
They enable better light management, so indoor growers can maintain a healthier environment for their hydroponic plants by reducing algae.
Hydroponic foam collars help reduce water loss due to evaporation by adding an insulating layer on top of the hydroponic medium.
These hydroponic foam inserts can also be used as cloning collars. In cloning and seed starting, young plants lack developed roots and can be vulnerable to dehydration. A foam collar helps maintain a humid microclimate around the stem and roots of starters and clones.
