Plant & Care

Plant in a sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil and water regularly while establishing. Once established, allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, taking care not to overwater during cool or wet periods. The darker markings often found on the leaves of zonal geraniums are responsible for the name “zonal”  zona means “zone” or “band”, referring to the distinctive band of colour across the leaves. Despite commonly being called geraniums, these plants belong to the Pelargonium genus.
