The Oroblanco is a seedless hybrid of a pummelo and grapefruit, known for its sweet, mild flavor and pale yellow flesh. It develops a thick rind and membranes with a slight bitterness, characteristic of its pummelo parent. The tree is vigorous and large, with a spreading growth habit, and matures early. It holds well on the tree, and the season in intermediate inland areas of Southern California is from January well into spring. This variety is well-suited for container planting and prefers full sun to partial shade.
