Graptoveria Fred Ives is a hybrid succulent created by crossing Graptopetalum and Echeveria, two genera native to Mexico's rocky, arid landscapes. It combines the drought tolerance and color-shifting ability of both parent plants into one rosette.
'Fred Ives' forms large, loose rosettes with broad pointed leaves that shift through pink, purple, orange, and blue-green tones depending on sun exposure and temperature. The leaves carry a soft powdery coating called farina, and individual rosettes spread impressively wide as a statement plant.
