Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra 'Burning Hearts'

An outstanding form of our native False Sunflower, 'Burning Hearts' has purplish stems and foliage topped with golden yellow flower heads, each with a red eye. Its nectar attracts butterflies and other pollinators, and the seeds provide nourishment for birds.

This genus is native to North America and all its species are hardy and vigorous Sunflower look-alikes. If you like vibrant, sunny flowers and minimal care, you will love Heliopsis. They thrive in full sun and well-drained, even dry soil.
