Built for everyday convenience, the HOTBIN 200 allows you to compost a wide range of kitchen and garden waste with ease. From vegetable peelings and fruit scraps to coffee grounds and garden clippings, simply add your waste regularly and balance it with dry “woody” materials like shredded paper or pruning waste to maintain airflow and structure.

Its enclosed, insulated system helps maintain temperatures up to 140°F, accelerating decomposition while reducing common composting issues like odors, pests, and messy piles. Designed to work year-round, it delivers a steady supply of rich compost for your garden beds, borders, and containers.

The HOTBIN 200 features a built-in leachate collection system that captures nutrient-rich liquid fertilizer (commonly called compost tea). This can be easily drained and diluted (10:1 water ratio) for use around your plants, enhancing soil health and plant growth. For even easier collection, pair your unit with a HOTBIN Plinth (sold separately) to elevate the bin and improve access to the drainage tap. The optional base will lift your HOTBIN by 5" to give easy clearance for a container under the tap.
