This stunning Hoya is the reigning Hoya queen, in our opinion! This unusual wax plant is known as Eskimo because of its adorable, heart-shaped leaves, which are primarily silver in colour.

The tropical forests of south and south-east Asia are home to the majority of the 200 to 300 varieties in the genus Hoya. The Hoya is a trailing, climbing plant with thick, semi-succulent leaves that is also known as the Wax Plant or Porcelain Flower. Perfect for allowing to trail off a shelf or for hanging baskets. They are really easy to take care of making them a great plant for beginners.

The species of Hoya Krohniana is native to the Philippines. Krohniana is a close cousin of Hoya Lacunosa for those who are familiar. In terms of hoyas, the Krohniana grows at a moderate pace, great for those looking for something a little smaller.

When fully grown, it will produce upright umbels of tiny, fuzzy white flowers in the spring and summer that have a pleasant scent. The flowers' centres are filled with tiny, yellow structures that are perfectly shaped like stars and appear to have been moulded from wax. Hence it being known as the Wax Plant.

These plants are perfect for adjusting to our home environments because they are native to the lush, warm, humid jungles of East Asia. This is especially true if they are allowed to live in a brightly lit bathroom or kitchen, where humidity is naturally higher. As long as humidity is controlled by using a pebble tray, the Hoya will adapt well to any other areas of your home or office.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to keep your Hoya healthy and happy.

Water: Keep the soil lightly moist during warm months, and drier during winter.
Light: Bright, indirect light with some soft morning direct sun is recommended.
Humidity: Medium to high humidity will be perfect.
Fertilize: Feed your Hoya during the growing season of Spring through Summer, once a week with a diluted feed. No Need to feed in winter, unless in active growth.
