Irrigation Piping is a general purpose, flexible water supply pipe, often used in hydroponic and automated watering systems. Piping is made from Low-density polyethylene.
Water pumps have different sized pipe fittings, getting larger as the pump size increases and your size of water pump will determine what size Irrigation Piping you will use in your system ( 12mm, 15mm or 20mm diameter) When designing a system, the first thing to consider is what size water pump you will need to use. Choose a water pump based on the head height / lift (the maximum height the pump will have to lift the water) when designing a NFT hydroponic system. For other applications, the flow rate of the pump can also be considered.
