A vintage Mid-Century modern Danish side tray table made of hand carved Teak, designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard. Handled top surface with slim splayed legs. Top does not remove from legs. Table is in good condition with wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1960, Denmark. Scandinavian modern at its best.

Jens Harald Quistgaard was born in 1919 Copenhagen, Denmark and passed away in 2008 Denmark. He was a Danish designer and sculptor. Quistgaard was trained as a sculptor by his father Harald Quistgaard and later he finished his apprenticeship as a drawer and silversmith at The Technical School in Copenhagen. From the midcentury his designs became conterminously with Scandinavian Modern and found their way into millions of homes in the USA, Europe and Japan.
