Kiwi-Hardy Ken's Red, Female

The Ken’s Red Hardy Kiwi (Female) is a vigorous female vine variety of Actinidia arguta that produces bright red fruit with a sweet, mild flavor. One of the largest hardy kiwi varieties, the vine can reach 20 feet or more. The fruits are smaller, similar in size to grapes, with smooth, edible skin that can be enjoyed whole. They're perfect for fresh eating and in desserts. Fruit ripens in early to mid-summer (June to July), 

Ken’s Red thrives in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil and consistent moisture. As a female plant, it requires a compatible male hardy kiwi vine nearby for pollination and fruit set. With the right support structure, pruning, and companion male, this cultivar can deliver generous, delicious harvests year after year.
