This lovely Biot jar dates from the eighteenth-century. Note the form is more upright than jars from the nineteenth-century that have a more rounded shape. The jar has had a crack (refer to photos) repaired and is in sturdy condition. The wooden lid dates from the same period.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
