Dating from the 1970s, France, this very large vintage wooden model yacht carries loads of craft and charm. Note its four striped and billowing fabric masts and warm, multi tone woods used to construct the yacht's hull (body of the boat from the deck down) and frame. There is a thin red-painted line decorating the hull. The yacht lifts up from its matching wood stand to move the two pieces around with ease.
An impressive model yacht to delight any collector or sailing enthusiast. A perfect complement to complete a nautical French decor theme in a child's bedroom. Measurements include the stand. Note photos to view traces of grey, perhaps an old tape mark, on base of wooden stand and slight aging / watermarks to mast. Repairs have been made over time.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
