This beautiful live cushion moss (ball moss) is perfect for creating your next terrarium project or enhancing an existing one! Use it to create small mounds or hills, or to mimic “mini-grass fields” in your terrarium. Our ball moss is ready for use, but in some cases, it’s helpful to clean the pieces with a hand or brush first.
Ball moss thrives directly on the surface, pebbles, gravel, or sand as long as it has good drainage and humidity. Occasionally misting, for example with a spray bottle, keeps your moss even greener!
Our ball moss pieces range from 8 to 15 cm in diameter. Pieces of various sizes are randomly selected based on availability. Did you receive a piece that’s too large? No worries. Cushion moss is easy to resize by simply breaking it.
