Miscanthus sinensis 'Zebrinus' has lush leaf blades that are marked with distinctive, golden horizontal bands. Even the lightest breeze creates movement of this grass that resembles a herd of zebra meandering across the plains. Silky, pinkish copper plumes gradually open up to reveal more of the fluffy white inside.

- Light: full sun
- Soil: moist, well drained, regular garden soil
- Spacing: 3 - 4'
- Height at maturity: 4 - 7'
- Pruning: cut back tin early spring before new growth appears.
