A pale, twisted piece of driftwood rises from a round wooden base beside your bed. The wood is bleached silver-white by years of sun and weather, stripped of bark, smooth in some places and rough in others, with knot holes and natural hollows that cast their own small shadows when the lamp is on. At the top, a wide polished mushroom cap spreads outward in warm golden amber. Hundreds of hand-carved gill lines under the cap fan warm light downward, filling the room with soft golden rays that play across the driftwood surface and the floor below.
The stem is a single piece of naturally aged driftwood, selected by hand for its shape, curves, and character. The wood is bleached silver-white by exposure to sun, wind, and rain over years. The surface is smooth where water and sand wore it down, rough where the grain was harder and resisted. Knot holes, branch stubs, and natural hollows remain where they formed. No two driftwood stems share the same twist, the same hollows, or the same surface texture. Each lamp is a true one-of-a-kind piece built around the driftwood that was found, not carved to order.
Wide Cap with Gill Glow
The cap is a broad dome carved from solid wood, sanded smooth, and polished to a warm golden satin. The deep amber grain sweeps across the dome in flowing cathedral arcs. Underneath, hundreds of tight gill lines are carved by hand from the center outward to the rim. The built-in LED strip shines outward through the carved channels, creating a warm 2700K sunburst that fans golden light downward. The contrast between the pale white driftwood stem and the warm amber glow from the cap creates a striking visual tension between cool and warm, raw and refined, found and made.
Round Wood Base
The base is a thick, turned round disc in the same warm wood tone as the cap. It provides a stable, weighted platform for the driftwood stem. The flat bottom sits flush on the floor with a felt pad underneath to protect hardwood and tile surfaces. A braided cloth cord exits from the back of the base.

Care
Wipe the polished cap with a slightly damp cloth. Reapply wood oil once a year. Dust the driftwood stem with a soft dry brush. The bleached driftwood is sealed to prevent shedding but may develop minor surface changes over time as it continues to age, which adds to its character. Avoid excessive moisture near electrical components.
