Organic alfalfa sprouting seeds produce mild, crisp sprouts for sandwiches, salads, wraps, and garnishes. They can be grown indoors year-round in a jar or suitable sprouting tray.
For a jar, add about 1 tablespoon of seed, rinse, then soak in cool water for 4–12 hours. Drain thoroughly. Rinse and drain twice daily, keeping the jar angled so excess water can escape. Sprouts are generally ready in 4–5 days. Before refrigerating, allow the finished sprouts to drain and dry well.
