Pacific Red Tide is a striking Sempervivum hybridized by Gary Gossett and registered in 1982. Its rosettes open as a vivid crimson red and deepen through maroon to rich chocolate brown as the seasons progress — a dramatic, ever-changing display of color that makes it a standout in any collection.
Like all Sempervivums, Pacific Red Tide naturally produces offsets (“chicks”) on stolons that can be left to form beautiful clusters or removed to transplant or share. Frost hardy and incredibly low maintenance once established.
