Pair of antique English cut crystal lidded candy jars 12½"

Dating from the nineteenth century, an elegant pair of English cut crystal candy or ginger urn vases with lids. The urn-shaped body is cut with a broad band of strawberry diamonds between fluting borders. The jars rest on a square pedestal base. The family name of the previous owners, "Farley" is engraved in the glass. A beautiful pair to add symmetry and grace to either side of a mantle or entry console. Note small chip to base and small chip to upper rim.
