Petite Pair of 19th-Century Cast-Iron Medici Garden Urns - 18" x 13½"

A petite pair of 19th-century cast-iron Medici urns, with the classical flared profile, gadrooned lower body, and square bases associated with this enduring garden form. Their modest scale gives them a particularly charming, approachable presence., while the weathered surfaces retain a particularly attractive outdoor patina of rust, softened gray-green tones, and traces of moss.  The two have aged slightly differently, giving each its own character while remaining highly coherent as a pair. Both are pierced for drainage and are ready to be planted.
