Philodendron Cordatum Heartleaf (Philodendron hederaceum), also called heartleaf philodendron, is a tropical aroid from the Araceae family native to the rainforests of Central and South America. In its natural habitat, it climbs and scrambles through the forest understory in warm, humid conditions beneath the canopy.
The leaves are small and heart-shaped with a glossy, waxy texture and symmetrical form that tapers to a pointed tip. Deep green mature foliage contrasts with softer, lighter green new growth, creating a two-tone effect on long, slender trailing vines.
