- Large and very rare brown ceramic wall hanging tile featuring a lovely lady in a flowing dress, holding a small branch.
- Excellent condition. Has a small and shallow chip to the backside has been cleanly put back in place. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind.
- Back marked Pigeon Forge Pottery and artist signed, D. Ferguson.
- Tile is 9" square.
- Pigeon Forge Pottery in Tennessee was founded by Douglas Ferguson, production began in 1947. Each piece was molded or hand thrown and then hand finished. Production ceased in November 2000 with the passing of Mr. Ferguson. The most valuable and collectible of the Pigeon Forge Pottery pieces are those created and signed by the founder Douglas Ferguson.
