Grow your own Red Conebush with this easy seed kit. This Leucadendron belongs to the striking group known as the Sunshine Conebush group, admired for their vibrant colour and eye-catching flowers.

This medium-sized shrub grows to around 1.5 metres in height and width, making it a wonderful addition to fynbos gardens. The male plants produce stunning bright red flowers that create a spectacular display in early spring. Female plants develop soft creamy yellow flowers that bring a gentle contrast to the garden.

Red Conebushes are known for being easy to grow and highly adaptable, thriving in a wide range of climates and soils. Their beautiful flowers are also popular as cut flowers or dried arrangements, adding colour and texture to floral displays.

The pack contains five Leucadendron seeds, along with Cape Seed Smoke Primer to help trigger germination by mimicking the natural post-fire conditions of the fynbos ecosystem. Seeds are best sown in autumn to follow the natural growing cycle of fynbos plants.
