Pointed Star Lifesaver Plant (Huernia procumbens)

Here’s another easy-to-grow Lifesaver Plant that has ridged, pale greenish-purple stems that grow low to the ground. Flowers appear from the base and have pronounced star-shaped, cream-colored petals and a round raised burgundy ring in the center that resembles a lifesaver. Be sure to grow in well-drained, cactus soil and fertilize only twice a month during the active growing period.
