Porquenca Blanca figs have green skin with yellow pulp. The fruits are symmetrical and oval in shape. They grow to a medium size, weighing around 50 grams. Porquenca Blanca is a bifera variety, meaning it produces a breba and a main crop. Brebas will ripen around mid June, while the main figs will be ready for sampling from August through September. Growers in cooler climates will want to try this variety that ripens well before the frosts set in. You will see primarily 3 lobed leaves with fewer single lobed leaves on Poquenca Blanca trees.
